Nereya Otieno has lived and worked in six countries across four continents.

She focuses on intercultural spaces and the ways in which music, food and the arts are forms of storytelling. She believes they define identities and create communities.

She is Co-Founder of the Rising Artist Foundation and a board member for Future Female Sounds. She was a 2021 AF WKLY writing fellow.
