I never really grew up, per se. But I did get bigger in San Francisco, California during the wonderful time of tech savvy radicals consorting with nostalgic, story-telling Grateful Dead “dead heads." I was raised in the era that ushered in female executives as a nonissue. These circumstances bred in me a curiosity for seeking out the unusual and cultivated an understanding when I found it.
I now use words as my profession. I've written for advertising agencies, clothing brands, music festivals, magazines, newspapers and strangers in coffee shops. I've now been published in two books and am currently working on my own collection of short stories for youth.
I like art and sandwiches and considers them one in the same. I'm nerdy about music but that's just another word for passionate.
